Balo news multan :Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) has said that a partial lunar eclipse will occur on the night of 31 December 2009.
The eclipse will be visible from Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. The eclipse will also be visible in Pakistan.
During the eclipse, maximum 7 percent disk of the moon will pass under the earth’s shadow. The details of the eclipse are Partial eclipse begins 23:53 hrs (31 Dec, 2009), Greatest eclipse 00:24 hrs (01 Jan, 2010), Partial eclipse ends 00:52 hrs (01 Jan, 2010).
